World’s Biggest Playgroup
Description
ACT Playgroups are delighted to invite parents, carers and children under 6 to join us for the World’s Biggest Playgroup to celebrate National Playgroup Week (23 to 29 March 2015). We offer parents and carers the chance to gather valuable information and parenting resources. For the children there will be lots of FREE, exciting, fun, entertainment and activities.
The World’s Biggest Playgroup will be held on Wednesday 25 March, 2015 at the Cook Community Hub, 41 Templeton Street, Cook from 9.30 am to 1 pm. The National Playgroup Day theme for this year is ‘Connecting Communities Through Play!’ and we are encouraging all participating community organisations to express this theme in their activities and all sporting organisations to incorporate it into their ‘come and try’ sessions.
Traditionally, somewhere between 1000 and 1500 people enjoy a great day. We have wet weather plans so the event will go ahead ‘whatever the weather’!
Useful Information
Wear comfortable clothing (including hats) and shoes. Sunscreen and water available. Snacks and coffee available or bring a picnic.
