National Tree Day Planting- Horse Park Drive, Australia Capital Region
Description
Aims of the project: Come plant some seedlings and meet Berry Bettong!
This National Tree Day we are working with the Woodlands and Wetlands Trust and Parks and Conservation Service to revegetate the upper reaches of Sullivans Creek. Our planting will provide erosion control benefits, while growing future habitat for woodland species from Mulligans Flat and Goorooyarroo Nature Reserves, including cute ecosystem engineers like Berry Bettong.

Directions: We will need to shuttle all attendees to the planting site from the Horse Park Drive car park, so you will need to arrive at or before 9:30am: https://goo.gl/maps/PqWNMLyLgkC2
This is the car park on Horse Park Drive, closest to the Federal Highway intersection. N.B. Please approach and enter the car park from the Gungahlin direction. Approaching from the Federal Hwy may be dangerous. We will have Greening Australia signs out on the day.

Hat, long sleeves, long pants, enclosed footwear, gloves, water bottle, and sunscreen. Tools and instructions provided on site.
The following will be provided: Gloves, Tools and equipment for planting, Watering cans / buckets, Drinking water, Snacks, Refreshments, BBQ
