Light the Night: Twilight Market and Community Walk, Sale, Gippsland

More than 60,000 Australians are living with blood cancer, and every day, another 34 people are diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma.

You can create a brighter future for families affected by blood cancer by registering for the Leukaemia Foundation’s Light the Night walk on Saturday February 25 2017 at Sale Botanic Gardens.

Sale and the community of Gippsland are invited to come together to help raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation and participate in Light the Night in the Sale Botanic Gardens. After 2 weather postponements, the event will commence with a twilight market will be from 4pm with a range of stall holders and food vendors and live music at the LEAF.

As night falls, gather with family and friends for a moving ceremony where you can light a special lantern; gold to remember someone, white for your own journey or blue to show you care. Lanterns will be available for sale for $20 each from 4pm.

Useful Information

The money you raise will ensure the Leukaemia Foundation can continue to help Australian families impacted by blood cancer by giving them the emotional and practical support they need, and funding blood cancer research to find the cures of tomorrow.
