“JUST EAT IT – A FOOD WASTE STORY”, Film screening at SPC Kidstown

Description

We all love food. As a society, we devour countless cooking shows, culinary magazines and foodie blogs. So how could we be throwing nearly 50% of it in the trash? Come along to watch this documentary that explores the environmental impact of food waste and offers simple suggestions to transform the way we treat food.  The evening will include a walking tour of KidsTown food gardens and sustainability initiatives and a vegetable seedling planting activity.

Please bring along cushions and blankets and your own food.  The KidsTown café will be open.

Some activities may incur a cost.
