Have you ever wondered who has the warmest fur or wool and feathers? Discover how furry friends rug up for winter. We’ll get up close with our furry friends in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Take a look at their fur to see just how good it is for camouflage. Animal burrows give them warth and protection, but how on earth do they stop soil getting into their pouches? Find out how burrow homes are made and find a prize in the mystery burrow!
On this exciting quest, we’ll go for a walk through the bush, with fun games and craft.
Morning tea is also provided.

This activity is designed for young children, and places are limited, so booking is essential.
Meeting place: Kalkari Visitor Centre, ample parking also available at the visitor centre.
Please note that park enty fees apply in addition to the $10 cost per child.
Toilets are available.
Wear warm comfortable clothes and shoes.
