Volunteer to protect the environment at Presidents Park, Werribee
Description
Presidents Park in Wyndham Vale is a massive multipurpose park that runs along the Werribee river.
In 2016 Wyndham City Council planted 21,000 trees along the floodway off Presidents Park with the aim to increase urban tree canopy and provide shade along the popular walking tracks.
Join us at Conservation Volutneers Australia as we go back through to remove weeds from the planting sites and remove tree guards from those that haven’t survived and those that have grown quite big.
