Tamworth parkrun

Description

What is Tamworth parkrun?
It is a 5km run or walk (or combination) – it’s you against the clock.

When is it?
Every Saturday at 8:00am.

Where is it?
The event takes place in Bicentennial Park, Peel Street, Tamworth.

What does it cost to join in?
Nothing – it’s free! but please register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. If you forget it, you won’t get a time.

How fast do I have to be?
We all run or walk for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace! There is no time limit and walkers are welcome too.

It is entirely organised by volunteers – email tamworthhelpers@parkrun.com to help.

We’re friendly!
Most weeks we grab a post parkrun coffee at Cafe 2340 in White Street – please come and join us!

Useful Information

Running shoes recommended. The run is on a concrete path but edges can be uneven and there can be dirt, leaves and other debris on the path. Please note, there are no toilet facilities.
