Description

Straddie Camping offers easy access island camping on idyllic North Stradbroke Island, just off the coast of Brisbane. The island is driving distance from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and has an abundance of activities for all ages and fitness levels. Popular with 4WDriving enthusiasts, surfers and fishermen, the Island also offers scuba diving, swimming, kayaking, sand boarding and bush walking, and is renowned for dolphins, turtles, manta-rays, kangaroos and koalas, as well as superb views of the annual humpback whale migration.

We have 6 beachfront camping grounds situated in the Island’s three townships and accessible by paved roads. These camping grounds offer powered and unpowered sites for tents, camper trailers and caravans, as well as 20 fully equipped cabins.

We also have hundreds of natural beachside camping sites in our Flinders Beach and Main Beach camping areas. If you love camping with your dog, these campsites are perfect for you, as they are dog friendly. You’ll need a 4WD to access these campgrounds.

We operate Aboriginal Cultural Activities suitable for adults and children throughout school holidays. Details and activity dates are posted on our website and on our Facebook page.
