Refugium: Free Kokedama, Moss Ball Workshops – Federation Square
Description
Learn the ancient Japanese art of Kokedama plant-crafting!
Refugium is an exhibition which explores biodiversity resilience in the city through art making with native plants.
Inspired by Melbourne’s unique climate, artist Tanja Beer brings together flora and fauna of past and present to create a bush refuge – a ‘Refugium’, in the heart of Fed Square.
Refugium will host a series of free Kokedama making workshops at Fed Square, and your creations will be exhibited as part of the Light in Winter Festival.
