Planting at Kwinana Beach with Coastcare

Description

Fancy a day by the beach? Join the friendly team leaders at Conservation Volunteers and help us to support the amazing work that local Coastcare volunteer groups do. Kwinana Beach is one of the few remaining coastal reserves and is under threat from weed invasion and vegetation degradation from erosion and uncontrolled access.

Coastcare groups have been managing the Kwinana Beach Foreshore to help with erosion control and rehabilitation to improve the health and habitat of the coastal dunes. Come down for the day and help us plant some native seedlings to revegetate the coastal dune, create habitat and reduce erosion impacts.

A vegetarian lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
