National Tree Day Planting- Thompson Street Reserve, Avondale Heights, VIC

Moonee Valley City Council is hosting a National Tree Day activity at Thompson Street Reserve, Avondale Heights. This location is important as it not only provides valuable open space and recreation to the community but also forms part of a significant water catchment and habitat corridor. We are aiming to improve corridor linkages to increase biodiversity and provide habitat. This is your chance to get your hands dirty, enjoy the surrounding environment and help to make Moonee Valley a green and beautiful place to live.

Please bring gloves and your trusting planting trowel (if you own one). As the majority of the planting site is located on a steep slope, please ensure sturdy, closed toe footwear is worn.
