Moreton Bay Regional Council Lantana Removal

Description

Come and help improve important koala habitat and valuable coastal wetlands at Rothwell. Working on a local Council reserve, this project aims to improve biodiversity and habitat values of reserve along the Moreton Bay Rail Link, adjacent to Saltwater Creek. This reserve forms part of Hays Inlet and the Ramsar listed Moreton Bay. Activities on the day include maintenance of a previously revegetated area (weed control, assisting with vegetation surveys) and litter/marine debris clean up.

Useful Information

Work will be done in the Moreton Bay Regional Council area with the option of meeting at our office at 333 Bennetts Road, Morningside 4170 for transport to and from the site.
