Life. Be in it – Mini Sports, Darwin

Description

Mini Sports is a structured sports program aimed at 3-5 year olds that teaches the fundamentals of a number of sports in a fun, non-competitive environment. It is ideal for preparing kids for future classes in school, sporting teams & physical activity.

Each program is made up of 7 x 45 minute sessions, each one building on the skills learnt in the previous weeks.

Our program aims to:
• stimulate hand eye co-ordination
• learn basic movement and ball skills
• build social skills, including working together and sharing
• increase confidence and prepare children for participation in school
• build general fitness, including cardiovascular, strength and agility
• foster a positive parent-child relationship
• show children that sport and physical activity is fun to establish a lifelong habit

Parental involvement is required throughout the class as the instructor demonstrates and assists with each activity.
