Leap into Nature @ Westerfolds Park – Night time adventure

Description

Thanks to Manningham City Council, Leap into Nature is holding a night of spotlighting at Westerfolds Park in Templestowe.

Meeting place is at the Swamp Gum car park inside the park entrance from Fitzsimons Lane. The car park is located near the playground and their are public toilets also. Please meet in the undercover area.

We will enjoy a ‘night-walk’ and spotlighting looking for animals of the night! Westerfolds is home to some lovely little possums called Sugar Gliders! So bring your torch or head-torch and keep your eyes open!

This session is advisable for children aged 5 years and above.

BYO handheld torch/head-torch.

Useful Information

What to bring:

Your sense of adventure!

Handheld torch or head torch.

Sturdy, comfortable shoes with enclosed toes.

Bring/wear appropriate clothing: dress for the weather, jacket, hats/beanie, long pants, raincoat, as required etc.

Water and snacks.

Children must be accompanied and supervised by their parents at all times.

Parking: Enter via Fitzimons Lane entrance and park at the ‘Swamp Gum’ car park inside the park. Meet at the undercover area.

Toilets are located near the car park. We will be walking on tracks, however there is one section that does not have a path.
