Leap into Nature @ Westerfolds Park – Night time adventure

Description

Leap into Nature is holding our next Junior Nature Club event at Westerfolds Park in Templestowe.

Meeting place is at the southern end of the park, within the car park off Porter Street in Templestowe.

We will enjoy a ‘night-walk’ and spotlighting looking for animals of the night! Westerfolds is home to some lovely little possums called Sugar Gliders! So bring your torch and keep your eyes open!

This session is open to all ages – but generally suitable for kids aged 4 years +.

BYO handheld torch/head-torch.

Useful Information

What to bring:

Your sense of adventure!

Handheld torch or head torch.

Sturdy, comfortable shoes with enclosed toes.

Bring/wear appropriate clothing: dress for the weather, jacket, hats/beanie, long pants, raincoat, as required etc.

Water and snacks.

Toilets are located near the car park and the tracks are pram friendly.

Cost for the session is $10 per child; under 12 months is free. Children must be accompanied by a parent/carer at all times and are required to stay for the duration of the session.
