Leap into Nature @ Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary

Description

Leap into Nature will be visiting Rickets Point Marine Sanctuary for our end of year catch up and exploring all things by the sea side.

Park in the car park adjoining the Ricketts Point Beachside Cafe, on Beach Road in Beaumaris. Please note it is $5 per hour for parking. There is free parking on Beach Road – just please be careful crossing the road its a busy one!

Toilets are available near the car park.

Nature discovery ‘tools/equipment’ and craft activities will be provided for the children.

 

Useful Information

What to bring:

Your sense of adventure!
Sturdy, comfortable shoes  – we recommend CROCS or other reef walking shoes that can get wet but still protect your feet.

Bring/wear appropriate clothing: dress for the weather, hats, long pants, raincoat, as required etc.

SUNSCREEN remember to SLIP – SLOP – SLAP – Be Sunsmart!
Water, morning tea/snacks/lunch.

COST per family: One child $9; two children $15; three children $20; four children $25; Under 12 months free.

Please bring an empty egg carton for our treasure hunt.

Parents/careres are required to stay for the duration of the session and are responsible for their children at all times.
