Leap into Nature Junior Nature Club @ Yarra Bend Park for Science Week

Description

Our Junior Nature Club will celebrate National Science Week at Yarra Bend Park in Kew.

  • TADPOLES session: Wednesday 19 August 2015;
  • FROGLETS session: Friday 21 August 2015

We will meet in the car park off Yarra Boulevard in Yarra Bend Park at the Studley Park Boathouse area (meet in the first car park on your left on Boathouse Road, coming from Yarra Boulevard).

We will enjoy a short (850 m) loop walk through the ‘Bushland Circuit Trail’ and investigate all things to do with one very special star – The Sun! So many ideas to explore with the Sun – it is a great topic to get kids involved in at all ages and will tie in really well with National Science Week!

The area is pram friendly and there are toilets available near the car park.

All nature discovery ‘tools/equipment’ and sun-related craft/nature activities will be provided for the children.
