Leap into Nature @ Jells Park School holiday session
Description
Leap into Nature is holding a school holiday session at Jells Park in Wheelers Hill.
Meeting place is within the very end/last car park at the southern entrance of the park off Ferntree Gully Road.
Our theme for school holidays is birdwatching! We will be acting as ‘twitchers’ – ticking birds off our list, recording those that we see and doing a bird scavenger hunt. The kids can act as true citizen scientists as everything we record will be submitted to bird/wildlife databases. We will also make a bird feeder the kids can take home and each child will receive a ‘Discover your Naturehood’ booklet which is a great way to follow on from the session and continue their nature discovery at home!
