Leap into Nature @ Braeside Park

Description

Join us for our bush playgroup session at Braeside Park.  There will be a short walk, some bird watching around wetlands, maybe some pond dipping and always bug hunting!

Meeting place is the southern end of Braeside Park, the car park off Governor Road in Braeside.

The area is pram friendly and there are toilets next to the car park.

Nature discovery ‘tools/equipment’ and craft activities will be provided for the children.

Numbers are limited so book in early!

 

Useful Information

What to bring:

Your sense of adventure!

Sturdy, comfortable shoes with enclosed toes or gumboots is recommended.

Bring/wear appropriate clothing: dress for the weather, hats, long pants, raincoat, gumboots, as required etc.

SUNSCREEN remember to SLIP – SLOP – SLAP – Be Sunsmart – if high UV.

Water, morning tea/snacks/lunch (kids get hungry bushwalking and being active!).

To be a regular member of our Leap into Nature adventures, it is required that you become a Playgroup Victoria member to ensure the group is covered for insurance (this includes public liability, personal injury and accident). You are welcome to come to one session before joining Playgroup Victoria. Please email us to get further information on joining.

Cost for the session is $10 per child; under 12 months is free. Email us to find out how to pre-pay and secure your booking (full refund available).

Children must be accompanied by a parent/carer at all times and are required to stay for the duration of the session.
