Leanyer Water Park

Description

The Leanyer Water Park was built near the Northern suburbs of Darwin to provide a water based recreation facility safe from crocodiles and box jellyfish. The park consists of children’s wading pools and water features and fountains with a huge bucket that gradually fills up and spills over.

Leanyer Recreation Park has something for everyone, including:
3 giant water slides
pool & wet play area
open grassed area with BBQ’s
kiosk & catering
toilets & change tables
shaded playground
skate park
basketball court

Opening Times:

Slides:
Mon – Tues closed
Wed – Fri 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Sat – Sun 11:00am – 6:00pm

Pool & Water playground:
Mon – Tues closed
Wed – Sun 10:00am – 6:00pm

School holidays
During school holidays, the pool and the water playground open at 10:00am and the slides at 11:00am.
They are all open until 6:00pm daily.
