Get Involved In Your Backyard – Highbury Aqueduct Reserve (Adelaide)
Description
The Highbury Aqueduct Reserve is an important urban biodiversity corridor with newly opened walking trails that create a linkage of paths to connect with the River Torrens walking trails. It was designed for the local community and CVA would like to invite you to join us to explore this beautiful site.
On these projects you will enjoy the natural environment and company of like-minded people, while undertaking a variety of the following practical conservation activities:
– Plant and bird surveys
– Seed collection
– Habitat enhancement
– Learn about Pioneer Community Garden
– Leisurely trail walks and maintenance
– GPS vegetation mapping

Useful Information
Please note that this event runs every FORTNIGHT on Wednesdays from the 4th April until the 13th June.
You can choose to come along to the morning session (8:30am – 11:30am), the afternoon session (12:30pm – 3:30pm), or why not both?!
To be involved on a CVA project it is important to wear sturdy shoes, long pants and a long-sleeved top.
