Conservation Volunteers Australia: Walking Track Project, Southern Tasmania
Description
What: This is a very exciting new program in partnership with Mtn. Trails. The team will be upgrading a popular walking track to allow better access for local, interstate and overseas visitors. A great opportunity to learn some new skills, while volunteering alongside some interesting and passionate people.
Where: Shipsterns Bluff walking track in Tasman National Park on the spectacular South East Coast.
Starting: Thursday 2nd March. Running every Thursday and Friday for 3 months. A minimum of two days is required when booking.
Cost: Each Thursday—Friday trip will cost $40.00 per person. This cost covers transport, food, tools and equipment. This is a camping project, all tents and mattresses and other camping equipment is provided.
Useful Information
You Need: Sleeping bag and pillow, standard PPE—boots, long trousers, long sleeved t-shirt, hat, warm clothing and lunch on the Thursday.
