Conservation Volunteers Australia: Hermitage Foreshore, Neilson Park Vaucluse, Sydney
Description
Come along for the day to contribute to restoring Hermitage Foreshore. The works will be occurring along the Hermitage Foreshore track which is one of Sydney’s greatest coastal walks stretching 1.7km in length. Through this area you will be able to see spectacular harbour views, remnant heaths, woodland, small patches of rainforest, craggy cliffs and secluded coves. The area is much degraded due to the establishment of invasive species. We have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the restoration of this area. You will take part in restoring and enhancing the biodiversity of coastal vegetation through bush regeneration works removing invasive weeds, removing refuse, revegetating and maintaining areas degraded by storm water and disturbance.
