Clarence (alt. Dargan Creek) Dam, Blue Mountains, NSW

Description

Also known as Dargan Creek Dam, this special place is up the Blue Mountains, and is not easily accessible… but it’s also super fun. Located in the middle of what the rock climbing community calls the “Cosmic County Area”, its highlight is a sheer ten metre cliff face, overlooking a big, deep dam.

It’s basically built for jumping from, and for the outdoor sports enthusiasts, it’s surrounded by spots for canyoning and rock climbing. Nature play at its finest!

Useful Information

**Please note that commercial groups are required to pay a licence fee to the Dargans Creek Reserve Trust. Funds received are used for the improvement of main roads into the reserve, rehabilitation of endangered ecological communities and hopefully in future, to improve the facilities.
