Casuarina Storm Swimming Club

Description

Casuarina Swimming Club Inc. is a non-profit swimming association affiliated with Swimming Northern Territory. Casuarina “Storm” Swimming Club was formed in 2011 after the amalgamation of Top End Storm Swimming Club with one of the original NT swim clubs, Casuarina “Crocs” Swimming Club Inc.

Since then, we have grown to be one of the largest and most successful swim clubs in the NT. Our swimmers consistently do well at swim meets at local, state and national levels. We currently have 180 members, with 111 swimmers who range in age from 5 to 52.

Our coaching team is one of the most experienced and dedicated in the NT. We have swimmers training at two venues across Darwin – at Casuarina Swimming Pool and Goldfishbowl Swim School, Palmerston.

The basic objectives of the Club are:

To promote and encourage participation in swimming.
To promote recreational swimming as an activity to improve the health and well-being of its members within a supportive, friendly, family focussed environment.
To encourage and support its members in their pursuit of competitive swimming.

We welcome new members at any time of the year as training occurs all year round.
