Description

Victorian Farmers’ Market Association accredited farmers’ market.

A new fortnightly farmers’ market in Carlton (1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month), supported by a City of Melbourne Community Grant. Located in the grounds of Carlton Primary School, the market will operate with approximately 40 stallholders offering ethical, local food from meat, fruit and vegetables to nuts, eggs and cheese.

Useful Information

Markets held every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.

Entry to the market is by gold coin donation which supports the school’s programs. Shoppers are invited to further support the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program at Carlton Primary School through a “Bumper Barrow” with donations of seedlings and market produce.

The market is plastic-bag free.

Parking is available on Lygon, Rathdowne and surrounding streets.
