Bartolo Nature Reserve – Community Event
Description
One of Western Sydney’s newest Nature Reserves, Bartolo is a remnant of the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland and a sanctuary for native wildlife and threatened species. To celebrate the start of conservation work on this site, we would like to invite the community members to a meet and greet event with local experts and Conservation Volunteers Australia.
Join with neighbours and locals as we learn about the natural and cultural values of Bartolo Nature Reserve and learn why we are so excited to be commencing works to look after this special site. Listen to a presentation from Cumberland Plain Woodland experts and enjoy some light refreshments.
You will also have the opportunity to join an interpretive walk of the site highlighting the numerous plants and animals found nowhere else in the world.
Come on a tour of the site and enjoy a cup of tea under the tree top canopy!
