Weekend of Bush Regeneration in the Wilderness, Cattai National park

Description

A weekend of bush regeneration, camping out and star gazing in the Cattai National Park. The Mitchell Park picnic area is a great place to pause for a bite and take in the bushland scenery of Cattai National Park – particularly after working up a sweat on one of the park’s great walking tracks.

Lunch campout, dinner and spotlighting for the greater Gliderr and the Nankeen Night Kestrel will be highlights of your weekend. Participate and learn more about psyllids and their impacts in the Cumberland Plain. Survey their impacts on the gum trees and the forest.

On Sunday head to nearby Scheyville National Park and meet with some of the rare wetland birds and reptiles.
