Marine Debris Surveys – Beautify the Beaches of Darwin

Description

Darwin has a variety of unique and beautiful beaches. A new location will be surveyed each Wednesday for marine debris, which are then sorted and catalogued on the day and added to a national database. With your help we can reduce debris and preserve our beaches.

We meet at the Conservation Volunteers Australia Darwin office and drive you out to the beach. This event runs every Wednesday, and rotates around our 6 collection sites depending on the tide (Rapid Creek/Nightcliff, Mindil, East Point, Buffalo Creek, Casuarina, Lee Point). Online bookings are essential (visit our website https://bookings.conservationvolunteers.org and click on NT). Please call the office (08) 8981 3206 or email darwin@cva.org.au if you would like any further information about an upcoming project:
