Kingaroy Erosion Control, Conservation Volunteers Australia, Queensland

Description

Join the team as we work with the South Burnett Regional Council to build gabion baskets to prevent erosion. On the site of erosion control, an extremely rare tree species (Phebalium Distans) is found and we will aid in this species protection. For this week you will learn valuable construction skills, learn basic natural resource management and meet people from all over the world! Sign up now to save your spot and come along with the team for the week! A fee of $208 is required from each volunteer*  to cover basic project costs. Student discounts available for full time students!

Useful Information

IMPORTANT:

If you just want to come along and volunteer for the day, there is no cost to you! The cost for volunteers represents food and accommodation costs for the week, and let’s face it, that’s a bargain anyway.

*** PLEASE NOTE*** A student discount is available for full time students wishing to attend this trip, bringint the complete cost to $120. If you would like to use this student discount please contact our office at brisbane@cva.org.au or call us on 3399 5761 and we will manually take your payment and add you to this project. THANK YOU
