Build a walking track on Mount Jerrabomberra, NSW
Description
Mount Jerrabomberra Reserve is an important pocket of biodiversity just over the border in NSW. It provides habitat for many birds and animals, and a recreation place for locals.
The Reserve is criss-crossed with walking and cycling trails, and many people enjoy getting into the outdoors there. It has many stunning views and provides a nice place for locals to go for a walk, run, or bike ride. It is also home to many birds and animals, and an important wildlife corridor for birds and to move through the landscape.
We will be helping people to enjoy the Reserve by building a new stretch of walking track along the creek, and a rest area. The track will help people to see the landscape without damaging it, and the rest area will provide people with a place to sit and enjoy the trees, birds, and animals.
What you can expect:
-Building something of value
-Discovering new walking and cycling tracks in your local area
-Being out in nature with nice people
-Recognition of your efforts

All you need to bring with you is food and plenty of water for the day, and appropriate clothing for being out and about in the great outdoors: long pants, long sleeved shirt, a hat, sturdy shoes, and work gloves if you own a pair. All equipment, safety gear and tools are provided by CVA.
