Help schoolchildren connect with nature, Queanbeyan
Description
Come join us on this fantastic project that is helping to restore and revitalise the Outdoor Classroom in Glebe Park on the Queanbeyan River. The Outdoor Classroom is a great area for children from local schools to learn about the environment. Unfortunately it is need of some much needed TLC, which is where we come in.
Partnering with Queanbeyan and Palerang Council we will be engaging in some tree planting, weed control and other activities to ensure that the Outdoor Classroom is place all of Queanbeyan can benefit from!
It will be a really great experience:
- You’ll help young people connect to nature
- You’ll learn great skills and have fun
- You’ll plant some native trees to improve the health of the Queanbeyan River
We’d love you to join us!
