Birds of the Top End, Darwin

Description

Want to experience Darwin’s unique birdlife? You will have the opportunity to visit urban and rural lagoons around the Darwin region. Wetland birds will be counted and identified using field guides. The baseline data will contribute to the preservation of our birdlife. Our survey sites include:

– Knuckeys Lagoon – Fogg Dam

– Mcminns Lagoon – Marlows Lagoon

Meet at our office at 8:30am – 2pm. Free transport provided from our Darwin office to all sites, pick-up is available with prior arrangement.

Useful Information

Please wear long sleeved shirt, pants, enclosed shoes and bring a hat. Bring your water bottle and some lunch.
