Conservation Volunteers Australia – Spring Tree Planting, Central Highlands

Description

Do you enjoy spending time in the environment? Would you enjoy being involved with like minded people, making a difference to your environment?

If the answer is yes then come and join your Conservation Volunteers Team helping Central Highlands Water with their Spring planting program. You will be helping plant new trees in their water storage reserves that protect biodiversity and water quality.

You will visit reserves in the Ballarat, Daylesford and surrounding districts appreciating old growth trees as you assist in planting the next generation!

 

 

Useful Information

What to wear:

– Comfortable sturdy shoes

– Long sleeved shirt and long pants

What to bring:

– Bring along your own water and lunch

– A positive attitude and a love for the environment

What is provided:

– Tea, Coffee and Biscuits are provided each day

– Pick up and drop off at the Ballarat Train station each morning
