National Tree Day Planting – Mt Gravatt Outlook Drive, QLD

Description

Aims of the project: Join Griffith Mates students and community members for 2016 National Tree Day planting to grow the Small Bird Habitat display garden and plant Koala trees.
Small forest birds need a variety of food ranging from nectar and grass seeds to insects. Also vegetation that provides safety for feed and nesting.

Directions: Planting will be in Mt Gravatt Conservation Reserve at the corner of Federation and Geebung Tracks.
Driving: Park at Mt Gravatt Lookout – signs marking path to planting site.
Bus: walk from Griffith University Bus Station.
