National Tree Day Planting – Clifton Hill

Description

The key objective of the planting is to reinstate native grassland to increase biodiversity and beautify the local park. This is a chance for the local community to take part in a conservation project and learn about native flora and fauna.

The planting area is in the section of Halls Reserve next to Heidelberg Rd which bridges Merri Creek.

Useful Information

Marquees and a registration tent will be located in Halls Reserve, at the end of Spensley Street.

The Planting Area is located on the Main City Trail so council encourages cycling to the event. Please wear suitable winter weather apparel, hat and sturdy shoes.

Kids are welcome, and the area is accessible.

Please RSVP to Craig McGrath, details below.
