Join Conservation Volunteers Pilbara Heritage Trip, July 2016

Description

Are you interested in supporting an Aboriginal community with its Elders of Roebourne?  Or conserving one of Australia’s National Parks “an oasis in the desert”?

Our Pilbara trip, running from the 1st until the 12th July will take volunteers to a area rich in biodiversity and culture.  The region has some of the world’s most ancient natural landscapes dating back two billion years stretching over 400,000 square kilometres.

Come join us for 12 days of environmental and heritage activities in the community of Roebourne and Millstream Chichester National Park.   On this trip we will be assisting the Community of Roebourne, City of Karratha and Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW).

These environmental and heritage activities will support Roebourne’s 150th Anniversary celebration and DPaW’s Ranger team.

The cost for this trip covers transport to and from Broome, all meals and accommodation. Concession rates are available.  Please contact our Perth office for more details.
