Floatfest 2016, Mannum

Description

Floatfest is proudly instigated by the members of the Murraylands Regional Tourist Association, to encourage you to visit this wonderful Region, and experience life by the River.

Floatfest is a two day family event based around beating a World record attempt at the largest number of floating kayaks\canoes by ‘Paddling into the Record Books’.

For 2016 there’s even more fun planned for the kids, with ‘Come and try’ canoeing, the PS Marion steaming, houseboats, lots of fun and activities for all. Stalls, markets and regional food are also showcased during the event so why not visit our Gallery page for some photos to see exactly what #Floatfest16 is all about!

Useful Information

Safety First! Floatfest strongly supports the Australian standards for water safety and endorses the SA legislation Harbors and navigation act 1993 and associated regulations to personal floatation device (PFD type 1) or buoyancy vests (PFD type 2 or 3).
