Parks Week 2016: Trailblazer’s Cycling Tour, Maffra

Description

Take a leisurely bike ride along the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail from Maffra to the Powerscourt Siding site at Beet Road, learning about the history of the former railway as you go. See the work of both Maffra Secondary College’s Trailblazers project and a recent Green Army project to improve the natural environment and highlight the trail’s history.

Useful Information

The ride is 9km return on mostly flat terrain and suits all abilities. Light refreshments will be provided. Meet at the DELWP car park, 1 Stratford Road, Maffra.
