Planting at Yangebup Lake

Description

Yangebup Lake forms part of the Beeliar Regional Park which contains part of a significant wetland chain that links in the north-south direction and crosses several local government and state government reserves. Yangebup Lake is a popular place for visitors and it has a strong heritage value.

Conservation volunteers will be working with the City of Cockburn to plant native seedlings to increase native plant cover and to improve biodiversity and habitat values. The City of Cockburn will be providing a BBQ lunch for all volunteers as a thank you for the day.
