Leap into Nature @ Green Point Brighton

Description

Leap into Nature is holding a school holiday session at Green Point and Dr Jim Willis reserve in Brighton.

Meeting place is within the car park at Green Point – once you enter the car park off Beach Road, turn right and drive as far as you can and park  – meet at the very end of the car park overlooking the beach and bathing boxes.

Our theme for school holidays is birdwatching! We will be acting as ‘twitchers’ – ticking birds off our list, recording those that we see and doing a bird scavenger hunt. The kids can acts as true citizen scientists as everything we record will be submitted to bird/wildlife databases.  We will also make a bird feeder the kids can take home and each child will receive a ‘Discover your Naturehood’ booklet which is a great way to follow on from the session and continue their nature discovery at home!
