Description
Fancy a day at the beach? Join the friendly team leaders at Conservation Volunteers for a day of planting native seedlings in dune areas at Coogee Beach. This important work has bene going on for over eight years and will help to prevent further erosion and will improve biodiversity. You get great ocean views while helping to restore native vegetation. Come and enjoy the sun and seagulls.
Coogee Beach is an A class reserve located on the shores of Cockburn Sound, south of Fremantle. This site is part of an important coastal strip containing significant vegetation.
We will be working alongside community friends groups to restore and rehabilitate this local urban coastline. Come down for the morning and help us plant some native seedlings to increase the biodiversity of this beautiful reserve. The City of Cockburn will be providing a free BBQ lunch as a thank you to all of the volunteers hard work.
