Planting at Market Garden Swamp with City of Cockburn
Description
Market Garden Swamp is located in Spearwood and forms part of a chain of wetlands in the area. It has been subject to mixed use over the years and features both parkland and remnant bushland. It is a popular place for visitors and has a strong heritage value. It is also home to several water birds and contains vegetation for the endangered Carnabys Black Cockatoo.
We will be working alongside community friends groups to restore and rehabilitate this local urban wetland.
