Parks Week 2018: Nature Walk, Shepparton
Celebrate Parks Week 2018 by joining a Parks Victoria ranger for a walk in nature – it’s great for your physical and mental health.
Shepparton Regional Park – Chinamans Gardens Walk
Enjoy a nice walk through River Red Gum Forest from Mooroopna to the Goulburn River. Hopefully along the way you will see a variety of birds enjoying the forest. This walk is an easy 1hr return and follows paved walking tracks all the way through. *Please wear enclosed shoes.
Meeting Point: Car park located near Chinamans Gardens off Mclennan Street, Mooroopna
Please bring a hat, sunscreen and water, and wear enclosed shoes.
You can register for these walks in the Nature Walks group on ParkConnect at https://www.parkconnect.vic.gov.au/Volunteer/public-planned-activity/?id=d25fd927-4a20-e811-8157-e0071b675c21
You will then be able to join all Parks Victoria’s Nature Walk and Volunteer opportunities in the future.
